basic information
**Curriculum** On the first day, participants will engage in group discussions based on the technical topics prepared by the instructor. Building on what was learned on the first day, the second day will involve group discussions centered around the actual proprietary technologies of the participating companies. The proprietary technologies to be discussed will be solicited from the participating companies at the end of the first day (providing proprietary technologies is not mandatory; participation in the course and group discussions alone is sufficient). In applying for proprietary technologies, participants will learn about the "definition of proprietary technologies" in relation to new business development during the first day's lecture. Additionally, both the organizers and instructors are bound by confidentiality obligations, and all participants will be required to submit a "confidentiality pledge." **Lecture Items** **Day 1: April 21 (Monday)** ■ Open innovation does not mean abandoning in-house development ■ The essence of new business development based on proprietary technologies Lunch break (lunch boxes and drinks will be provided.) ■ Business viability assessment of new businesses ■ Q&A **Day 2: May 16 (Friday)** ■ Review ■ Practicing open innovation ■ Workshop on new business considerations based on actual proprietary technologies ■ Q&A
