Walking changes the future! Creating new value in station usage with a game-like experience.
This proof of concept (POC) is a case developed by our company at the request of a certain railway company under the supervision of a certain university. We evaluate the effects of a system designed to promote stair usage on health improvement, congestion alleviation, and medical cost reduction. We are developing an interactive system aimed at reducing dependence on escalators within the station and enhancing users' health awareness, and we will verify its effectiveness. This system is an innovative initiative that simultaneously achieves three effects: health promotion, congestion alleviation, and medical cost reduction. By providing real-time progress displays and game-like mechanisms, it naturally and positively changes user behavior, enhancing the overall experience at the station.
