The VS3500 is a dedicated receiver for the TVU series in a 1U rack size. It is compatible with all TVU transmitters. On the receiver, you can change the transmission bit rate and delay, as well as check the status of each SIM card. Since all operations from the receiver to the transmitter are possible, the staff on the transmitter side can focus on their primary filming tasks. With a software license, you can choose models with SDI output of 1 channel, 2 channels, or 4 channels, and you can also use features like video/audio return functionality (VFB) and IP streaming output functionality as optional additions.

Detailed information

On the TVU receiver's operation screen, a list of available TVU transmitters is displayed as thumbnails. By selecting a transmitter and pressing the live start button, video transmission will begin immediately. Additionally, you can check the status of the SIM line during transmission and control the bitrate and delay based on the reception conditions at the site.
The latest TVU receiver has added link aggregation functionality, allowing different wired connections to be connected to the two LAN ports on the back of the receiver, enabling packet distribution transmission by bonding LAN1 and LAN2. This expands the bandwidth and allows for more stable video reception. If either network experiences a communication interruption, the other LAN connection is seamlessly maintained, preventing video loss and achieving line redundancy. *To use this feature, both the transmitter and receiver must be at the specified version or higher.*
The TVU receiver supports industry-standard protocols such as SRT and NDI. It is also capable of receiving video signals from external platforms like YouTube.
