A case where stains were removed as much as possible and the frame was remodeled to be easy to hang in both Japanese and Western-style rooms!
We would like to introduce a case in which we re-framed an old hanging scroll into a frame at our store. It was a valuable hanging scroll by a renowned artist, but it had been stored for many years without proper ventilation, resulting in significant yellow spots and stains on the entire paper. Since the customer wished to have it framed, we removed as many stains as possible and re-framed it into a style that would be easy to hang in both Japanese and Western-style rooms. [Case Overview] ■ Before Framing - It had been stored for many years without proper ventilation, resulting in significant yellow spots and stains on the entire paper. ■ Framing - The customer requested it to be framed, so we removed as many stains as possible and re-framed it into a style that would be easy to hang in both Japanese and Western-style rooms. *For more details, you can view the related links.
