The painting that was faded and hard to see has been restored, and you were very pleased!
We would like to introduce a case where we refurbished a rather old frame that was hanging in a large room of a mansion we worked on. The painting was in a state where it was not very clear due to years of dust, humidity, and UV exposure, and the backing and edges were quite damaged. After cleaning, we reinforced the back of the original paper with sturdy washi, replaced the mat with gold leaf and the backing, and added acrylic to the edges to prevent aging as much as possible. The painting, which had been dull and hard to see, was revived, and the client was very pleased. 【Case Overview】 ■ Before Refurbishment - The painting was not very clear due to years of dust, humidity, and UV exposure, and the backing and edges were quite damaged. ■ Refurbishment - After cleaning, we reinforced the back of the original paper with sturdy washi, replaced the mat with gold leaf and the backing, and added acrylic to the edges to prevent aging as much as possible. *For more details, you can view them through the related links.
