Our company will hold a business seminar. The public sewerage project in Miura City, Kanagawa Prefecture, faces challenges such as aging facilities, decreased revenue due to population decline, a reduction in city staff, and reliance on general account transfers, necessitating improvements in operational sustainability. Therefore, starting from April 2023, we have launched Japan's first concession project targeting everything from maintenance management to reconstruction of all sewage-related facilities, as a method to effectively incorporate private management principles and know-how. In this seminar, we will provide a detailed explanation of the background leading to the start of this project, the business scheme, the progress of the project since its inception, the challenges that have emerged so far, and future developments.
