We would like to introduce a case study of the introduction of the "E-cat kit" to a mandarin orange farm in Ehime Prefecture. The mandarins are transported using a monorail, but there are some fields where a monorail is not installed, and in those cases, a rubber crawler type is used. However, due to the presence of paths that are only wide enough for a person to walk and areas that are only as wide as the embankment, it has been realistically difficult to use. After the introduction, the sense of fatigue and physical burden has been reduced to less than half. Additionally, we received feedback that the issues of "ease of use for anyone" and "noise problems," which were difficult to address with engine-powered equipment, have also been resolved.
