Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism
Our company will hold a business seminar. On August 30, 2024 (Friday), a new "Basic Water Cycle Plan" was approved by the Cabinet. In light of recent changes in the water cycle situation, including the occurrence of the Noto Peninsula earthquake in 2024, the transfer of water administration, and the manifestation of climate change impacts, we have made revisions. Going forward, each ministry and agency will work together to focus on four main areas: ensuring stable water supply through alternatives and redundancy, restructuring water supply and sewage systems through facility reorganization and public-private partnerships for optimal and sustainable water services, promoting measures against global warming towards carbon neutrality by 2050, and developing comprehensive watershed management for a healthy water cycle. We will promote initiatives aimed at achieving a healthy water cycle.
