Integrated Biofoundry Cultivation Process Scale-Up
Our company will hold a seminar on "Initiatives in Bio-Manufacturing." In recent years, there has been growing attention on bio-manufacturing, with predictions that its market size will reach approximately 200 trillion yen by 2030. The driving force behind this is the biofoundry, which utilizes digital technology and robotics to rapidly develop smart cells. On the other hand, in the development of production processes such as cultivation and separation purification, particularly in the scale-up development stage, costs and time are significant, creating a bottleneck for social implementation. To address this challenge, JGC HD has proposed an integrated biofoundry that conducts everything from smart cell development to process development in collaboration with Bacchus Bioinnovation, a biofoundry startup. This presentation will elaborate on the significance of our efforts toward the integrated biofoundry and detail two bio-manufacturing projects that our company is undertaking. [Seminar Details] ■ Date and Time: March 4, 2025 (Tuesday) 13:30 - 15:30 (Doors open at 13:00) ■ Speaker: Takayuki Obuchi, JGC Holdings Corporation *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
