Latest Trends in Non-Fossil Certificates
Our company will hold a seminar on "The Direction of Carbon Pricing Policy and the J-Credit System." We will explain the future direction of carbon pricing policies (emission trading systems, environmental taxes), which are one of the methods to promote corporate emission reductions, as well as the J-Credit system. J-Credits are expected to serve as environmental value products in response to carbon pricing policies. We will provide an overview of the J-Credit application requirements and recent market trends (supply and demand, Tokyo Stock Exchange market, government sales), as well as discuss the market trends of competing products, such as non-fossil certificates. We will compare J-Credits and non-fossil certificates, which are expected to expand as steps toward carbon neutrality, and predict the direction of these markets.
