Projecting FEM analysis results onto experimental specimens, models, and actual structures. Achieving real-time visualization of internal strain, stress, and cracks.
"JTSTAR" is an iPad application that allows you to display data created with the structural analysis system "DIANA" in combination with images of experimental specimens, models, and actual structures. It enables real-time projection of various analysis results and experimental outcomes, such as concrete crack propagation analysis and elasto-plastic finite displacement analysis of steel structures. In addition to observing cracks inside test specimens, rebar stress, and failure modes, it can also be used to understand shear stress and damage indicators. 【Features】 ■ Overlay analysis results on experimental specimens and actual structures ■ Continuous playback for observing time-dependent changes and dynamic analysis ■ Outputs load values and displacements along with displayed analysis images ■ Solid elements and shell elements can be displayed transparently *You can view the materials from the <PDF download>. basic information
【3 Steps for AR Display】 STEP 1: Create analysis data using the general-purpose linear and nonlinear structural analysis system "DIANA" STEP 2: Convert the analysis data for AR display using "JTSTAR/DIANA" STEP 3: Display in AR using the iPad app 'JTSTAR' ◎ Display various results for each analysis step Results for each analysis step can be displayed, allowing for diverse outputs such as deformation, strain, stress, and damage indicators. You can manipulate the deformation scale to display deformation diagrams, and continuous playback is possible with the play button. Additionally, load values and displacements for the currently displayed analysis step are output, making it very convenient for situation confirmation. ◎ Visualization of the internal specimen It is possible to display through solid elements and shell elements (plates), allowing for the verification of strain and stress in rebar and PC cables by making concrete transparent. The transparency level can be adjusted from 0% to 100% using a slider, allowing for intuitive operation. ◎ Various easy display functions The display scale can be freely changed, and output of load-displacement curves is also possible. *For more details, please refer to the materials.
