Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare: Regarding the Additional Charge for Effective Productivity Improvement Promotion System
Our company will hold a seminar on "Key Points for Promoting DX in Nursing Care in the 2024 Nursing Care Fee Revision." In the future, while the demand for nursing care services is expected to increase further, the working-age population is projected to decline rapidly, and it is estimated that approximately 570,000 new nursing care personnel will be needed by 2040. To address these challenges, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare is implementing comprehensive measures to secure nursing care personnel. Among these, efforts to improve productivity in nursing care settings are defined as "enhancing the value of nursing care," aiming to improve the quality of nursing care services and retain and secure personnel through training and efficiency improvements. Based on the compilation of digital administrative and fiscal reforms, various initiatives are being emphasized, and new allowances are being established in the nursing care fee revision for fiscal year 2024. We will provide a detailed explanation of the overall picture of these initiatives.
