Achieve simple and speedy construction! Ceiling base materials that excel in seismic resistance and maintenance. Usable in offices, schools, childcare facilities, stores, and hospitals.
It is possible to contribute to various social issues and needs, such as the realization of a low-carbon society, the decrease in the workforce, and preparedness for natural disasters. BIM compatibility is also available. This is a construction method that involves assembling steel T-bars into a grid and inserting the rock wool decorative sound-absorbing panel "Dairotong Grid." The grid ceiling sizes are 600mm square and 640mm square. It can also be used in properties that require clearance between the ceiling and walls. There are specifications available that can be used in data centers as well. 【Features of the Grid Ceiling】 Compared to conventional ceiling construction methods: - Reduction of inserts (suspension bolts) + reduction of interference with equipment and ducts - Realization of construction efficiency through reduced construction work - Easy seismic reinforcement due to the interlocking joints - High maintenance due to the absence of inspection openings - Minimal types and amounts of waste generated on-site

basic information
This is a method of constructing a grid using steel T-bars and dropping in a Dairoton grid. By combining it with rock wool decorative sound-absorbing panels, it enhances functionality and results in a next-generation system ceiling that excels in design and earthquake resistance. The grid is available in two sizes: 640mm square and 600mm square. Color options for the ceiling panels are also available. ● Excellent maintenance: Most ceiling panels serve as inspection openings, making maintenance and inspections in the ceiling space easy. Additionally, the ceiling panels can be easily replaced. ● Excellent earthquake resistance: Since the four edges of the ceiling panels rest on the T-bars, they are less likely to fall and have superior earthquake resistance. ● Easy layout changes: It can flexibly accommodate the relocation or addition of lighting fixtures, allowing for optimal partition placement. *This product is for indoor use only. It cannot be used for external applications such as eaves ceilings. ● Shortened construction period: The connection of T-bars is a one-touch connection. The ceiling panels can be simply dropped into the grid, which shortens the construction period. ● Excellent design: By using a slim T-bar with a visible width of 15mm, the T-bars become less noticeable, achieving a simple and sharp ceiling surface.
Price information
Grid (Steel T-Bar): ¥12,000/m² The T-Bar is a standard component. The ceiling cavity height is set to H < 1,500 mm, and includes suspension bolts and brace materials with a load area of 18 m² per pair (in both XY directions). Steel Edge (L-Bar): ¥3,800/m [Note] This is a reference material construction design price for flat ceilings with an area of 1,000 m² or more. The above prices are based on the DKG-2000 basic specifications. Additionally, edge trims, ducts, opening reinforcements, ceiling partition reinforcements, wall clearance adjustments, breeze line adaptations, and insert casting work are charged separately. Daiken Corporation was founded in September 1945 (Showa 20). In the aftermath of the war, amidst devastation and chaos, it began with the passionate aspiration of our predecessors to "produce timber and processed wood products as reconstruction materials and contribute to the rebuilding of Japanese society and the lives of its people." Since then, we have continued to develop and provide products that create high-quality living environments with eco-friendly materials that consider the global environment and a consumer-oriented perspective. In parallel with the development of these eco-materials, we have enhanced the quality of living environments by adding functionality and quality to essential building materials such as flooring, wall materials, and ceiling materials, as well as storage and architectural acoustic products that enrich daily life, all from the perspectives of safety, security, comfort, and health. We have provided products aimed at improving the livability for everyone. Our efforts now extend beyond Japan, as we look to the future of the world, engaging in global environmentally conscious manufacturing and consumer-oriented production that aligns with the circumstances of each country, striving to create new "value of living" and achieve harmony among people, spaces, and the environment.
