This is a compact and lightweight winch equipped with our company's self-locking mechanism (Shoji-Lock). It holds the load at the position where the workpiece is lifted. Additionally, it can be restarted from any position in both forward and reverse rotation without releasing the brake. Its lightweight and compact design allows for space-saving, making it widely adopted and well-received in various fields. In addition to the manual-only (SWM series) models, we also offer electric tool drill driver-driven (SWE series) models. The load capacity ranges from 50 kg to 300 kg. Furthermore, we have some models made of stainless steel suitable for clean rooms, as well as aluminum models that achieve further weight reduction. It can be widely used for work in places without power, disaster response, energy-saving measures, and defense/military applications. Since it is not a ratchet, it operates very quietly, making it suitable for nighttime work and environments such as hospitals, research institutes, and laboratories. The stainless steel models are used not only in clean rooms but also in marine and ship-related applications. Additionally, the aluminum models are very convenient for portability due to their lightweight design. They are also adopted in defense and military-related fields.

Company information
The load-holding function equipped reduction mechanism (shoji-lock) has been developing applied products such as winches and rack jacks since the early 2000s. Steady sales activities have borne fruit, and it has begun to be adopted for various applications. Unlike conventional worm reduction gears with self-locking functions where the input and output shafts are orthogonal, this mechanism has them aligned in a straight line (inline), allowing for a compact design and space-saving, which has received high praise, resulting in a diverse range of practical examples. (Patents have been obtained in Japan, the United States, the EU (Germany, France, the UK), China, South Korea, and Taiwan.) Furthermore, starting in April 2023, we launched a new business for overseas parts procurement, beginning with Vietnam. Currently, a majority of our parts are also procured overseas, and we hope to leverage our achievements and network to assist companies struggling with cost reduction in parts procurement.
