From Feedback Method to Establishing Feedforward Method
The water quality of the water source shows a trend of complex pollution, and there is a demand for advanced and strict chlorine treatment and management in water purification processes. The traditional feedback method of seeking appropriate values after chlorine injection has posed health and economic issues. Therefore, it is desirable to establish a feed-forward method that captures the chlorine consumption of raw water in advance and processes it. From sampling to measurement, the system automatically and continuously measures the chlorine demand of all substances in raw water, such as ammonia nitrogen, iron, manganese, and organic matter, in a short time. It can be used as a monitor for surveillance and, in combination with chlorine injection equipment, for accurate chlorine injection control as an automatic proportional injection system. 【Features of the CD-12MF model】 - Improved rotating platinum electrode for residual chlorine detection - No pre-treatment by filtration required for high turbidity samples - Continuous measurement of chlorine demand in raw water - Capable of following rapid changes in raw water quality - Expanded screen size for improved visibility - Easy operation via touch panel - Equipped with USB functionality

Detailed information

- Schematic Diagram Continuously sample the test water, mix it with a reagent (saltwater) that has been electrolyzed to produce chlorine water, and perform ultraviolet irradiation to promote the chlorine consumption reaction of the raw water (reaction tank). Detect the residual chlorine at the outlet of the reaction tank and control the electrolysis current of the chlorine generator to ensure a certain level of free residual chlorine remains, allowing the chlorine generation to follow the changes in chlorine demand of the test water. Calibrate the zero point using distilled water as the test water and the span using a standard chlorine demand solution, then measure the chlorine demand of the unknown test water.
