This decorative cover maintains gaps to allow rainwater to flow in while preventing debris, by filling an original frame with natural gravel, which is solidified with a special binder, creating spaces for water to flow through. Using two types of aggregates, the upper layer consists of natural gravel that considers aesthetics, while the lower layer uses crushed stone to enhance permeability. The resulting void ratio is approximately 40%, and the permeability coefficient is generally 1.3 cm/sec. These features provide drainage performance comparable to practical applications, such as grating with a lattice-like opening.
