Labor-related laws and regulations are important knowledge that fosters a broad perspective and rational, objective recognition and judgment skills in all workplaces, regardless of industry or occupation. They are useful for preventing disputes, resolving labor issues, and improving the labor (employment) environment, and are essential for sound organizational management. We believe that managers, human resources personnel, and those aiming for career advancement or future management positions will deepen their understanding and awareness of labor law. This course, which has a history and tradition, has been offered by Kanagawa Prefecture since 1952 and is now in its 74th term. The instructors consist of university professors and leading experts in various fields, and the course has a reputation for reliability and results, having been attended by many companies, unions, and workers over the years. The curriculum covers three areas: labor law, human resources and labor organization issues, and social security. It is designed to provide practical learning of specialized knowledge related to labor in consideration of historical context and social conditions. Participants will learn systematically about labor laws and systems, as well as receive explanations of the latest information, including legal amendments.
