Narita International Airport Corporation - Future Developments
Our company will hold a seminar on "Concrete Initiatives for the Realization of the 'New Narita International Airport.'" In order to fulfill our mission of responding to the anticipated increase in air traffic demand and contributing to the enhancement of international competitiveness in Japan and the Tokyo metropolitan area, it is urgent to significantly improve the overall capacity of airport facilities, including not only the development of new runways but also passenger terminals and cargo facilities. Additionally, it is necessary to address the long-standing issue of improving railway access. Furthermore, since the operation of Narita Airport is supported by employment from the local community, integrated and sustainable development between the airport and the region is essential. To address these various challenges and to consider the future vision of Narita Airport, we have launched the 'New Narita Airport' initiative. We will provide detailed explanations of the specific initiatives and future developments.
