<Tokyo Event> Realizing a Zero Carbon City Starting from the LRT Line: Decarbonization Leading Area, Local New Power Company "Utsunomiya Light Power Co., Ltd."
Our company will hold a seminar on "Utsunomiya City: Initiatives through the Compact Plus Network." Utsunomiya City aims to become a "Super Smart City" where everyone, from children to the elderly, can live rich, convenient, and secure lives, even in the face of population decline and a super-aged society, fulfilling dreams and hopes. To realize carbon neutrality by 2050, we are promoting initiatives in the "decarbonization leading area" along the LRT line, selected by the Ministry of the Environment, and will provide detailed explanations about the community new power company "Utsunomiya Light Power Co., Ltd." established through public-private joint investment, as well as the "Zero Carbon Transport" initiative involving LRT (next-generation streetcars) powered by local renewable energy.
