basic information
【System Configuration】 An RFID tag was added to the product tags originally attached to the bags, and the "RFID In/Out Package" was implemented, enabling inventory management through handheld devices (plus Android terminals). Both computers and handheld devices are connected to the database server to save reading results (actual performance). 【Effects After Implementation】 The issuance and attachment of RFID tags are carried out at our own factory, allowing for prompt collection of actual performance data. By using a handheld reader during inbound and outbound processes, we were able to read product tags from outside without unpacking the cardboard packaging, significantly reducing work time. The collected actual performance data can now be automatically written to the database, which has also reduced the need for verification work. Additionally, before the introduction of this tool, inventory tasks were performed manually, requiring several people and taking several days of work, but this has also been significantly reduced in time.

Founded in 1894 as a textile company, Takaya Textile expanded and established its electronics division in 1966, starting the assembly of transistor radios. Today, in addition to contract manufacturing services (EMS) related to electronic devices, the company actively manufactures and sells various electronics, including in-circuit testers (printed circuit board inspection devices) and RFID (a technology that enables information exchange through short-range wireless communication from tags containing IC information), as well as IT consulting and system solutions, both domestically and internationally. We continue to evolve as a corporate group that contributes to societal development, with textiles and electronics as our dual pillars.
