Enhancing Japan's presence in the global space industry and demonstrating international competitiveness - Towards breaking away from dependence on government demand and promoting new entrants (NewSpace).
Our company will hold a seminar titled "Challenges of Japan's Space Industry and Two Directions to Aim For." The space industry is expected to grow to over 150 trillion yen, more than three times its current size, by 2040, making it one of the promising fields. In Japan, there is a goal to double the domestic market size by the early 2030s. However, it cannot be denied that Japan's market size is currently only about 1.2 trillion yen out of the approximately 42 trillion yen global market size, indicating Japan's limited presence in the global space industry. This seminar will review the current state of the domestic and international space industries and provide detailed points on the two directions that Japan's space industry should aim for. [Seminar Details] ■ Date and Time: May 8 (Wednesday) 9:30 - 11:30 (Doors open at 9:00) ■ Venue: JPI Conference Square ■ Participation Methods: In-person, live streaming, archive streaming ■ Speaker: Daiki Kato, Manager, Research and Consulting Division, Japan Research Institute, Ltd. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
