We would like to introduce a case study of the production management system "FUSE," which combines only the necessary features from 20 functionalities, implemented in the casting industry. There were challenges such as a lack of process management, leading to habitual delays in delivery due to the inability to see work progress, and the specialized techniques of casting becoming tacit knowledge, making technical succession difficult. After implementation, delays in delivery were reduced to one-third through progress sharing using a large touch panel, and it became possible to register actual results from the site, enabling real-time progress confirmation.
