Achieving coolness, energy savings, and CO2 reduction through reflection, heat shielding effects, and radiative cooling technology!
Radicool
A technology that adds "radiative cooling effect (i.e., releasing absorbed heat)" to the conventional "reflection + heat shielding effect"!
"Radi-Cool" is a technology that cools indoor spaces more effectively than the outside air by efficiently radiating absorbed heat without using energy. By applying it to roofs and windows, it lowers indoor temperatures and reduces air conditioning energy consumption, achieving energy savings and CO2 reduction. By combining existing technologies that reflect a high percentage of sunlight with advanced heat radiation technology, it prevents heat accumulation on the product surface while also being able to absorb and radiate heat from the backside. Additionally, by concentrating the radiated heat in a wavelength range known as the "atmospheric window," it enables heat radiation that is not hindered by the atmosphere, which is a cause of global warming, allowing for thermal exchange with space even during the day. 【Compatible Materials】 ■ Stainless Steel ■ Aluminum ■ Aluminum Anodized ■ FRP Board ■ Concrete ■ Galvalume Steel Sheet ■ Colored Galvanized Steel ■ Urethane Waterproofing, etc. *It is recommended to conduct tests before installation. *For more details, please feel free to contact us.

Detailed information
-
Performance verification by Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. When painted on the roof of the Nissan Service Center Co., Ltd. Kyushu branch, it was able to suppress the rise in ceiling temperature.
-
Performance verification by Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. - Salt spray test (paint adhesion): Tests conducted according to automotive standards (Nissan internal standards) confirmed maintenance of cooling performance. - Weather resistance test (xenon irradiation): No structural changes, no changes in radiative cooling performance.
-
Introduced measures for environmental improvement for customers and employees at airport facilities. The surface temperature improved to -16.5°C, and the indoor temperature improved to -6.0°C. This not only enhances the perceived temperature but also leads to a reduction in air conditioning costs.
-
Introduced energy-saving measures for air conditioning loads at airport facilities. The surface temperature improved to -8.3°C, and the indoor temperature improved to -4.5°C. The average energy-saving rate is 30%, which not only enhances the perceived temperature but also leads to a reduction in air conditioning costs.
-
Film applied to outdoor communication equipment. Energy-saving rate before and after installation is 36%!
-
To prevent failures due to heat, in the solar power plant's cubicle! A difference in surface temperature of -31.6℃ was observed.
-
Film and paint are applied to silos and tanks that require temperature management. The maximum temperature difference on the roof surface was 26.1°C, and the result inside the storage was 5.6°C.
-
Summer energy-saving verification! Maximum energy-saving rate of 63.4% per day during air conditioning operation. Indoor temperature drops by up to 16°C when air conditioning is not in operation.
-
Winter heating power consumption verification! The increase rate of heating power consumption for radiative cooling roofs is 3.2% or less compared to untreated roofs. When verified throughout the year, the energy-saving rate increases.
Line up(3)
Model number | overview |
---|---|
Coating | When applied to the roof, it contributes to reducing air conditioning costs by minimizing radiant heat from the ceiling due to the radiative cooling effect, resulting in a lower perceived temperature. |
Film | By applying it to the cubicle, the surface and internal temperatures decrease, preventing failures caused by high temperatures. |
Fabric | If utilized like a "sudare" (bamboo blind), it allows for a cool experience even by the window. |
