The IC-DU6505BNPLUS is a new wave-compatible digital simple radio licensed station manufactured by Icom. The differences from the IC-DU6505BN are as follows: It increases the existing digital simple radio licensed station (3B) 65 channels by adding 30 channels for the new wave compatible digital simple radio registered station (3C/3D), resulting in a total of 95 channels. *The relay (3D) 20 channels are planned to be supported. *There are no changes to functions or performance other than for the new wave. It is equipped with an interface that connects to IP lines, allowing for the expansion of the communication range and operational modes of conventional digital radios. It has an IP54 rating for splash and dust resistance, making it safe to use in environments with light rain or water splashes. It comes standard with HM-206#32 and is equipped with a GPS unit, allowing for GPS data acquisition. It features a loudspeaker function that outputs microphone audio directly from an external speaker connected to the IC-DU6505BNPLUS, enabling it to be used as a loudspeaker.
