[Case Study of Radio Equipment] Urban Circular Ropeway *Facility Management & BCP Measures

A case where BPC measures are combined and running costs are not required! Management of communication equipment has become easier.

We would like to introduce a case where the general-purpose business radio "IC-DV60S1" was implemented for an urban circular ropeway. To realize the ropeway in the Yokohama Minato Mirai area, the installation of aerial tramway radio equipment was essential, but the allocation of frequencies for business radios is limited. Unlike IP radios, using general-purpose business radios allows for communication to be possible even during earthquakes and disasters, as each communication device can serve as a starting point, thus creating a suitable communication environment for the urban ropeway. 【Case Overview】 ■Challenges - It was necessary to accurately communicate with the aerial tramway radio installed in each gondola during accidents or malfunctions and to facilitate communication with passengers who were not accustomed to radio operations. ■Results - By storing the radio in a dedicated box, theft prevention of the radio was achieved, and daily retrieval of the radio became easier. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
