The patented centrifugal oil separator from the IOW Group comes standard with a sludge monitoring system (separator control unit) and features a unique bowl disk technology that was previously used in conventional large centrifuges. There is a proven track record of use with upgraded YANMAR 6N80L-ZN engines. As a result of installing the IOW MP200 centrifugal oil separator, which replaced the outdated FM200 centrifuge, the amount of sludge removed increased from 1.3 kg with the old model to 1.6 kg with the IOW oil separator MP200 over the same operating time, demonstrating a 25% improvement in efficiency.
