The minimum line width is 10mm, and the thickness of the light guide panel is 6mm. Channel letters made from sheet metal are characterized by a certain thickness. However, recently, there has been an increase in designers seeking thinner channel letters. This led to the creation of the letter panel that utilizes LED light guide panels. We achieved uniform illumination of wide, thin channel letters by manufacturing light guide panels in the shape of the letters. To avoid color unevenness, one method is to evenly distribute the LEDs of the light source, but this significantly increases costs. However, by utilizing the mechanism of LED light guide panels, we can solve this problem by simply placing the light source LEDs on the sides. The number of LEDs used is one-fifth of the conventional amount.
