The "Shin-Go-Gōme" at the Gotemba route of Mount Fuji is a restroom located at the fifth station of the mountain, providing comfortable facilities for climbers and children visiting via bus. In the past, a "constant flow circulation toilet" was installed, but it received poor reviews from users and had deteriorated, leading to a decision to renovate the restroom, in which our company also participated in the proposal. The "RC type unit toilet" combined with "Sofeel circulation use" was evaluated, and factors such as "environmentally friendly circulation that does not impact national parks," "performance unaffected by user fluctuations," "low running costs and easy management," and "extensive track record in facilities such as national parks, quasi-national parks, and World Heritage sites" were recognized, leading to its adoption. The RC toilet is designed to be stored in a shelter as a measure against volcanic eruptions, while the Sofeel circulation type is compactly arranged despite the limited space.
