The Minamisanriku Town Disaster Recovery Memorial Park is a place for mourning and honoring those who lost their lives in the Great East Japan Earthquake, as well as a park established to preserve the memories and lessons of the extensive damage and to pray for recovery from the disaster. Additionally, this park has the concept of conveying disaster prevention, which is why a Sofeel recycling-type toilet that can be used as a flush toilet even during disasters has been adopted. Two Sofeel units have been installed in the restrooms on the premises.

The 21st century is referred to as the "Era of the Environment." The mission of environmental creators is significant, and there are great expectations from various sectors. In particular, creating towns that are kind to both people and the planet is considered an urgent issue in modern times. "Designing while protecting the natural environment is the culture and 'heart' of the town. The landscape and space of the completed facilities represent the beautiful 'form' of the town." With this concept in mind, we pursue what truly comfortable environments are, and steadily realize them based on high levels of safety and security! The Sofir Association, with members nationwide, has the capability to respond with a comprehensive system to the necessary ideas, materials, and technological expertise needed to create such ideal environments.
