Thermal power supply to hospitals! Introduction of a case study on the implementation of a biomass boiler.

This is an introduction to a case where a biomass boiler was installed at the Hiratori Town Wood Biomass Center for the purpose of supplying thermal energy to a hospital. The center serves as a facility for combined heat and power (CHP) supply to the adjacent hospital, utilizing the exhaust heat from a small CHP system to dry high-moisture content chips, which are then distributed to the small CHP and our boiler. The thermal energy supplied is used for hot water and heating. It is a facility capable of autonomous operation, ensuring stable supply so that the hospital, which serves as a disaster prevention base, and the community center designated as an evacuation site do not become non-functional during emergencies.
