[Construction Example] Solo Exhibition at an International Conference with Maxima (Octanolum)
Introduction to the exhibition construction using Maxima 40 corners.
I assisted in the installation of a solo exhibition at an international conference using Maxima 40 square posts. Typically, when constructing tall structures or reducing the number of columns, thicker Maxima posts such as 80 square or 120 square are used. However, this time, we built a structure with a height of 4 meters and beams extending up to 3.5 meters using 40 square posts to meet the client's request. We adopted slender columns and, considering transportation and installation, the columns and beams were designed to be extendable and separable. Since the tension of the fishing line and the weight of the exhibited items would be applied to the beams, we pushed the limits of strength. We planned to complete the transportation and installation of the exhibits in one day, and we were able to assemble and display everything successfully as planned, which seemed to satisfy the artist who placed the order.
