We, the Nankai Group, create a harmonious business model for the next generation. Additionally, our group is engaged in a circular agricultural afforestation project as part of our CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) efforts, with an ecological approach that connects to the future, stemming from our business model that uses a lot of wood. Since 2006, we have started a reforestation project utilizing fallow land on Java Island, Indonesia, leveraging the characteristics of the fast-growing leguminous tree, Falcatta. This sustainable system not only ensures stable resource procurement and price stabilization and creates local employment but also contributes to environmental conservation and the prevention of global warming. It minimizes damage to nature and aims for harmony between nature and humanity without depleting valuable forest resources.
