[NEXCO standard compliant] A key product of Miedoren that combines water leakage prevention and spalling prevention, contributing to water leakage measures for tunnels, culverts, etc.
We would like to introduce a case study of the installation of the water guide pipe "EF-385 Standard Transparent Type" for the repair of tunnels in Fukui Prefecture. In this tunnel, water leakage occurred from the joints and cracks in the lining surface due to aging. Particularly in winter, freezing could lead to slip accidents, and because there were numerous leakage points, other construction types faced the possibility of prolonged work. With this product, water leakage can be directed to the drainage channel without adversely affecting passing vehicles or pedestrians. 【Case Overview】 ■ Issues - Water leakage occurred from the joints and cracks in the tunnel lining due to aging. - Water that leaked onto the road could freeze in winter, leading to slip accidents. - Due to the numerous leakage points, other construction types (such as crack injection) faced the possibility of prolonged work. ■ Reasons for Adoption - Compared to other construction types, it can be installed in a short period. - It can serve both as a water leakage countermeasure and a peeling prevention measure, making it economical. - Since it can be processed on-site, it can be installed without removing or relocating existing structures. - By adopting the transparent type, visual inspections can be conducted after installation. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
