The "α-Beat" is a soft starter designed with consideration for gears, belts, and machinery. [Challenge] In this factory, raw materials are transported using a bucket conveyor. The issue was that the shock during startup was damaging the belts and chains, forcing us to replace parts once a year (approximately 500,000 yen per replacement). [Solution] We adopted the soft starter "Soft Starter α-Beat," which minimizes mechanical shock during startup to the utmost. Even after four years, no parts replacement has been necessary.
