Precision Control Reduction Gear "Coronex" ER-P Series: Nidec
Nidec Drive Technology Corporation
High-precision, no backlash, compact, high rigidity, quiet, high efficiency. The Circut tooth profile has evolved into a precision control reducer, Colonnex.
In 1975, the circulute tooth profile adopted by the Coronet reducer was born, and after 40 years of evolution, a precision control reducer has been completed. This is the "Coronex" reducer, marking the 40th anniversary of the circulute tooth profile's evolution. Leveraging the characteristics of the arc tooth profile, it features "high efficiency," "zero backlash," and "quiet operation," along with a "hollow shaft" that expands its range of applications. It is ideal for robot joints and fine indexing in machine tools. *As of April 1, 2023, "Nidec Shimpo Corporation" has changed its name to "Nidec Drive Technology Corporation."

Detailed information
-
Original Circulute Tooth Profile This is the original tooth profile from Nidec Shimpo. It has evolved over 40 years since the birth of the internal gear planetary reducer "Coronet Reducer" in 1975. *Circulute is a coined term by Nidec Shimpo, combining Circle and Involute.

Internal Structure Leveraging the characteristics of the arc tooth profile, it features "high efficiency," "zero backlash," and "quiet operation," along with a "hollow shaft" that expands its range of applications. It is a high-rigidity reducer ideal for robotic joint drives and fine indexing in machine tools.
-
Structural diagram Adopts a hollow input shaft, featuring no backlash and compact design.
-
Operating principle: When the high-speed shaft completes one rotation, the wheel rotates (self-rotates) in the opposite direction of the high-speed shaft's rotation by the difference in the number of teeth with the internal gear, and this is transmitted by the carrier pin to the low-speed shaft for output.
