Automation of the transport of actual boxes from the molding machine to the storage rack and the transport of empty boxes from the storage rack to the molding machine.
We would like to introduce a case where a certain electronics manufacturer implemented a "Container Unmanned Transport System." Since the transfer heights of the input and output ports are different, it was essential to have a function that allows the transfer slide table on the AGV to be raised and lowered. Additionally, to ensure that containers are reliably placed onto the free rollers, the transfer slide table was equipped with a function to slide horizontally as well. By enabling the conveyor in the storage rack to operate as free rollers, unmanned transport was achieved solely with the cost of introducing the AGV. 【Case Overview】 ■Industry: Manufacturing ■Implemented System: Container Unmanned Transport System ■Implementation Location: A certain electronics manufacturer *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Company information
To address the labor shortage, unmanned transport vehicles (AGVs) are expected to be utilized in various fields. In production sites, they help connect multiple locations within processes and streamline the movement of goods. Shikou is a company with over 40 years of experience as a specialized manufacturer in this field. Most of its products are custom-made, and its clients include automotive and food manufacturers, as well as medical institutions, spread across the country. The technology and initiatives cultivated over many years have been recognized, and the company received the Pioneer Award at the Small Giants Award by the economic magazine "Forbes JAPAN"! We aim to respond to the growing demand for labor-saving solutions against the backdrop of work style reform and contribute to society through our manufacturing efforts.
