The MD628 (MD-628) is a vehicle-mounted DMR digital and analog general-purpose radio manufactured by Hytera. It is capable of acquiring GPS information and dynamic management. It can store and manage all communication history. It has voice recording capabilities. The transmission output ranges from 1W to 25W, used according to the output specified in the applied license. It has a channel capacity of TDMA2 multiplexing. TDMA is a time division operation mode. In digital mode, it allows for two complete communication lines at a frequency of 12.5kHz narrowband. By utilizing the external terminals (ports) on the front and rear of the MD628, third-party developed extensions can be added, significantly enhancing the effectiveness of the radio. It has obtained high durability standards of MIL-STD (U.S. military standards) MIL-STD-810 C/D/E/F/G. As a digital-analog / dual-mode DMR, it allows communication with existing analog general-purpose radios.
