Chofu Manufacturing and K.I.S. have jointly developed and started selling a hybrid module called 'PVT Panel' that can simultaneously perform solar power generation and solar thermal collection. By recovering the heat from the panel through a circulating water circuit on the backside, the temperature of the panel is lowered, which increases the temperature range that can maintain power generation efficiency. The heat recovered from the panel can be effectively utilized for hot water supply and other heat sources.
