Save time and simplify digit arrangement! Introducing a case where downtime was reduced by up to half a day.
The Pacific Highway expansion project includes the construction of a new bridge over the Nambucca River. Once completed, the bridge will be 850 meters long, and each girder, weighing up to 158 tons and measuring 41 meters in length, needs to be positioned on precisely controlled bearings. To save time and simplify the placement of the girders, the teams from Universal Cranes and Smithbridge utilized a synchronized hoist system. The SyncHoist system, positioned under the lattice spreader, allowed for finite adjustments of the beams during placement onto the bearings. Additionally, it helped reduce downtime by up to half a day, as the team only needed to adjust the slings instead of changing the rigging gear for each placement. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
