A means for moving and positioning heavy loads! Case study of the SL100 hydraulic gantry system.
The removal of raise bore reamers has traditionally been a dangerous and complex process that is costly and time-consuming. For this reason, PYBAR Mining Services, a specialist in underground mining, understood the need to develop a safe working method for removing large-diameter reamers in an underground mining environment. As a solution, the Enerpac SL100 hydraulic gantry system was used. It has a maximum lifting capacity of 110 tons and is operated remotely using the Intellilift wireless control system. The Intellilift controller provides excellent safety and control by eliminating employees from the shaft area during the lifting of the reamer. Once the reamer is lifted from the shaft, it is pulled away from the open shaft and covered with a hole cover, creating a safe working area. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
