[OEM Product Manufacturer/Case Study] Product Development Without the Cost of Molds
The introduction of a laser processing machine that can be easily mastered by designers and salespeople has greatly expanded the scope of manufacturing.
We would like to introduce a case study of the introduction of our laser processing machine "Speedy 300" at Bitt Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of miscellaneous goods items. The company was planning and developing OEM products for other companies, designing them, and manufacturing them using molds at cooperating factories in China and domestically. However, this method required expensive mold costs, and it took time and money to create samples for customer proposals. After introducing the Trodat Speedy 300, they switched to on-demand production of goods that do not require molds. Additionally, by using the UV printer and laser processing machine together, they were able to create three-dimensional objects from flat prints, significantly expanding their manufacturing capabilities. 【Case Overview】 ■Challenge: To work on OEM prototypes and the development of in-house products without incurring mold costs. ■Results - They became able to easily create on-demand goods, leading to increased sales. - Sales representatives could create samples, allowing negotiations to proceed more quickly. *You can download the PDF or click on related links below for more details.
