It is provided as a web service and can be easily operated from a regular PC/browser. "NDLOCR" features a "layout recognition" function that automatically determines the position of text and figures, and it can read books and magazines from the Meiji era to the early Showa period with over 90% accuracy, whereas existing OCR can only read 40%.
