[AGF Unmanned Forklift Case] Support for Building a Digital Management Model Factory
Shortening wait times and achieving efficient transportation! Introducing a case study of the implementation of "VNP20" in the automotive industry!
We would like to introduce a case study involving a major automobile manufacturer in a Chinese automotive city that participated in the construction of a digital management model factory. The user focused on smart manufacturing and envisioned creating a proof-of-concept factory for smart and sophisticated management through digital means. Together with the user, we transformed and improved the factory logistics through workshops, achieving flexible production management with precise insertion of various steel pallets, coordination aligned with the production line, integration with inbound and outbound management, and efficient and accurate material handling. VisionNav Robotics' RCS works in conjunction with the user's WMS, which manages location and batch control. Following the production plan, the WMS sends tasks to the RCS, dispatching unmanned forklifts to pick up materials and enabling unmanned transportation between the semi-finished product area, spot welding area, and finished goods storage area. As a result, we reduced waiting times at workstations and achieved efficient transportation.
