Previously, it was so hot that one could hardly walk without first pouring water, raising concerns about burns. When students took breaks from the pool, they would first wet the poolside with water from a hose or the pool itself before resting. After the application, the area no longer became excessively hot, allowing students to sit comfortably and safely.
