Hard anodizing treatment (corrosion resistance, wear resistance)
■Outstanding Features Compared to regular anodizing, corrosion resistance and wear resistance are improved. The hardness is around Hv350 to 450. Regular anodizing undergoes sealing treatment to enhance corrosion resistance, but hard anodizing typically does not undergo sealing treatment. *Sealing treatment: A post-treatment that uses high-temperature steam or boiling water after anodizing to enhance the performance of the film.

basic information
■Details of Processing Technology This is a technology that processes at a lower temperature compared to standard anodizing (anodic oxidation) to obtain a hard film with a hardness of about Hv400. The film thickness is also thicker, ranging from 50 to 100μm, compared to the standard anodizing thickness of about 5 to 25μm. The film itself has insulating properties and does not conduct electricity. ■Available Sizes 900×4000×4500 mm ■Base Material A5000 and 6000 series are suitable. Caution is needed for die-cast products as the film is difficult to form. ■Points of Caution (Disadvantages due to Processing, etc.) The anodized film grows while etching (modifying) the aluminum base material. Therefore, the film thickness and dimensional increase rate differ. ■Delivery Time (Varies by Quantity and Size) Approximately 1 week. ■Inquiries We do not handle this product, so we apologize for the inconvenience, but please contact the manufacturer through their website.
