The markerless three-dimensional motion analysis system "Anakin System" allows for motion measurement without markers, enabling measurements of posture and movement without the hassle of setting up equipment on-site while wearing everyday clothing. We evaluated the differences in walking motion between walking shoes that have a weight loss effect and those that do not. The results showed that with the shoes that have a weight loss effect, both walking speed and stride length increased. **Why measure a person's posture and movements?** The ease or difficulty with which a person handles objects is unconsciously reflected in their posture and movements. For example, the way one opens an easy-to-open container differs from that of a harder-to-open one. Furthermore, the way one walks varies between comfortable shoes and uncomfortable ones. Additionally, the state of a person's body, whether good or bad, is also reflected in their posture and movements. For instance, walking posture changes due to aging or illness. Research has shown that individuals at higher risk for dementia tend to have slower walking speeds. Conversely, those who regularly train for physical fitness show the effects in their walking posture. **Why can it be measured without markers?** A depth camera captures data on the entire body shape of a person (surface point cloud). However, this data alone does not reveal joint positions. By overlaying this data with a standard human model of similar height, it is possible to determine joint positions.
