A customer with a shelf space occupancy rate of 25.3% in their warehouse. While the aisles are somehow secured, there was a shortage of shelf space for the stored items. As a result, racks and other items were placed directly in the empty spaces, making it very difficult to search for documents and other materials. Kobatec proposed a renovation using "rail-type movable shelves (manual movable shelves)." We created a new layout from scratch based on the current floor plan and made our proposal. After our proposal, the shelf space occupancy rate in the warehouse increased to 49.7%, resulting in a 196% increase in storage capacity.
