Our company has established and sold the first nitrogen gas generator using the PSA method with carbon molecular sieve (CMS) adsorbent manufactured by Bergbau in 1979. Since the molecular diameter of oxygen is smaller than that of nitrogen, it diffuses quickly into the fine pores of CMS and is adsorbed. Additionally, moisture and carbon dioxide in the air are also adsorbed similarly to oxygen.
