The table designed for the International Cultural Center has been reimagined by the designer, Jō Daisaku himself. It features a mushroom-like base inspired by concrete architecture and gently curved tabletops. The size is optimal for use as a dining table, and it pairs exceptionally well with the persimmon chair, which is also designed by Jō Daisaku. The tabletop is not square but rather a rectangular shape with arcs. This form is designed so that the gaze of those seated naturally converges towards the center. It is a beautifully curved table born from Jō Daisaku's commitment to form. Additionally, hardware is installed on the underside of the tabletop to prevent sagging, ensuring long-lasting use.
