By accurately measuring the thickness of the paint film, it allows for understanding the film thickness at the time of application. Wet film thickness gauges are helpful for quality control during the application process and for saving paint. Dry film thickness gauge: This type of gauge is used after the applied paint film has completely cured. The dry film thickness gauge is utilized to measure the thickness of the paint film after the painting work is finished, confirming the quality of the finish.
